The simplest building is a complex mix of systems, technologies, and tenant needs. Please join Damon Davis, Andrew Woods, and Shaun Reimer of Modern Niagara as they share details on what plumbing maintenance all building owners and property managers should be doing regularly to avoid disasters in their building.
Damon Davis began his career in the HVAC industry in 1994 at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. An HVAC journeyman at 24 years old, Damon quickly advanced into a foreman role before moving into a Service Manager position. Damon has been with Modern Niagara for 3 years and in that time has advanced to General Manager for Building Services, responsible for Plumbing and HVAC as well as future offerings including integrated building technology and electrical services. Damon lives in Pitt Meadows with his 2 daughters and enjoys skiing, golf, hiking, and anything on the water!
In 2003, Andrew Woods started his career as a mechanical industry professional as a Plumbing apprentice in Calgary, Alberta. Andrew completed his apprenticeship with a reputable commercial/institutional contractor recognized as a dedicated team player. His role quickly evolved into a supervisory position. After moving to the lower mainland in 2015, Andrew recognized the vast potential in the Plumbing and HVAC service industry stemming from the growth in recent years. With a strong aptitude in both the construction and service industries and experience in both the public and private sectors, it was an easy transition for Andrew to join the team at Modern Niagara. As the Plumbing Estimator, he is responsible for bringing his strong skill set and deep knowledge to his role, providing the best possible value to his customers. When he’s not working, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and friends, mountain biking, working out, and anything that gets him moving!
Shaun Reimer began his plumbing career in 1991. He was fortunate to begin his career working for a company specializing in new construction builds – including 4 storey walk-ups, warehouses, and high-rises – as well as service. Understanding how piping is installed, equipment is placed and commissioned, and plans are read has prepared Shaun to solve the toughest challenges and support his customers at a high level.
Shaun has spent 30 years in the industry and has a passion for continuing to learn while passing on knowledge to his team and his customers. Shaun has two daughters, lives in Langley, and coaches hockey, power skating, and boxing.
