Eric Peterson, P.Eng., QEI, President & CEO

Eric joined GUNN Consultants Inc. in August of 1998 and has been owner of the firm since 2004.  He is the President and CEO of GUNN and is responsible for all aspects of the daily operations of the business, including business development, education and training, inspections, modernization review, equipment and maintenance specifications, traffic studies, bid review and recommendation, drawing review, and contract negotiation.

Eric's experience with elevators started with his position as an elevator installer at Dover Elevator Co. in 1991.  Shortly after graduating from Lakehead University in 1994, Eric began working in the engineering consulting industry.  His consulting experience has included project management, cost estimating, mechanical system engineering, and design supervision.

Eric is registered Professional Engineer and a member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, and Professional Engineers Ontario.

 

Jerry Chang, P.Eng., PMP, QEI, Partner, Manager – Modernizations

Jerry joined our team after graduating from the University of British Columbia in 2012 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  Jerry is a Project Manager leading our Modernization department, managing residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Jerry is a registered Professional Engineer and a member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC.  In 2017, Jerry received his Project Management Professional Certification.
